Central employees were hopeful that they would get the gift of increased DA in May. But they may be shocked by the new report. According to the National Council-JCM, now it can be increased in June.

Know when there will be an increase in DA

Dearness allowance (DA) has been freezed since last year due to Corona. It was expected to be increased in May, but the report of the National Council-JCM-Staff Side may shock millions of central employees. Because even this time they will not get the gift of increased DA. It is now expected to be announced in June.

JCM-Staff Side Secretary Shiva Gopal Mishra says that the central government may announce an increase in DA in June. This will increase the basic salary by at least 4 percent. For this, the National Council is in constant contact with the Department of Expenditure of the Ministry of Finance and the officials of the Department of Personal and Training (DoPT). According to the department, due to the second wave of Corona epidemic, the entire plan has gone awry. The Joint Council and the concerned officials of the Central Government are in constant contact about this, it will be discussed soon.
