The SpiceJet airline company has come forward to help people in the Corona epidemic. Oxygen concentrators have been brought from Beijing via two cargo aircraft of the company.
These days the country is struggling with the outbreak of the second wave of Corona. In such a situation, from big industrialists to well-known companies are coming forward to help the countrymen. In this episode, the country’s famous economic airline company Spicejet Airline has also extended its hand. On Wednesday, 3,100 Oxygen Concentrators were brought to India from Beijing via SpiceJet’s cargo plane Spice Express. This will help the countrymen to fight in the battle of Corona.
According to the company, two huge aircraft, B767 and A330 were installed for this work. The first shipment arrived in New Delhi at 9.10 am, while the second shipment arrived in the afternoon. Ajay Singh, SpiceJet’s chairman and MD, recently said that his company would be carrying around 20,000 oxygen concentrators from all over the world in the coming days. So that the medical oxygen shortage in the country can be overcome.
Transportation of oxygen concentrator from these countries
Prior to Beijing, SpiceJet Airlines has transported more than 9,950 oxygen concentrators from the US, Hong Kong, Singapore and China in the last two weeks. The company wants to continue this work even further. It is known that Spice Express has a fleet of 19 cargo planes. 63 domestic and 50 international cities are connected in its cargo service network.
Special offer for COVID positive travelers
These days, due to Corona epidemic, many travelers cannot travel on their fixed date, because they have become COVID positive. In such a situation, SpiceJet is giving them a special offer. Under this, infected passengers can reschedule their tickets to travel anytime. No fee will have to be paid for this. This facility will be available till 15 May 2021.
