The stock market remains bullish. Investors bought heavily in the banking sector. Due to which the Sensex closed at the highest level and the Nifty also saw a rise.

The rise in the stock market

These days there is a bullish phase in the stock market, which continued for the third consecutive day. On Tuesday, the Sensex and Nifty 50 closed at a record high. The BSE Sensex closed at a new high of 52,773 with a gain of 221 points. At the same time, Nifty also reached beyond 15850 for the first time. During this, investors bought heavily in the shares of the banking sector. Due to which they got a strong share in the index. Talking about the top gainers, Asian Paint topped both the exchanges.

Apart from this, there was a rise in Reliance Industries, Infosys, HDFC Bank and HDFC Ltd. Apart from this, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, IndusInd Bank, Infosys and HDFC Bank also performed well.
Today on Tuesday, the Sensex opened at 52,751.83 points and reached 52,869.51 points. After this, on the closure of trading in the Sensex, it recorded a rise of 0.42 percent or 221.52 points. Today 15 stocks closed with gains on the Sensex, while the remaining 15 stocks closed with a fall.

Talking about Nifty 50, it closed at 15,869.25 with a gain of 0.36 percent or 57.40 points. On Nifty, 25 stocks including Asian Paint, HDFC Life and Axis Bank closed with gains. The share of Asian Paints was the biggest gainer among the stocks included in the Sensex. It saw a rise of about 3 percent. Asian Paint closed at Rs.3041.85.

Bajaj Finserv and Dr Reddy’s were the top sellers on the Sensex today. Bajaj Finserv closed down 1.05 per cent at Rs 11805.95 and Dr Reddy’s fell 0.82 per cent to Rs 5414.90. Titan’s stock also saw a fall of 0.68 percent, so it closed at Rs 1723.50.
