Today while surfing on Linkedin, I saw a post, which was about a Gururaj ‘Desh’ Deshpande. This post was written about how his organization Deshpande Foundation has built more than 6000 ponds in the last 5 years.
He also announced that he is working on a program to build 1 lakh such ponds in the next phase. The aim of this project of about 800 crores will be to help farmers and increase their income.
