There is hope for Corona’s 2-DG medicine. After the clinical trial, it has been revealed that this drug is working fast on the patients admitted in hospitals and they are recovering quickly. Along with this, the dependence on oxygen is also decreasing after eating this medicine. The person who played the biggest role in making this drug is D. Anil Mishra.
Dr. Anil Mishra, a resident of Ballia, UP, claims that this medicine can be given from children to old men. It is effective on everyone. Its 3 phase clinical trial has gone on, after which the Center has approved it.
Dr. Anil Mishra has done his M.Sc from Gorakhpur University in 1984 and PhD in Chemistry from BHU in 1988. Then he was a post doctoral fellow at Bergogné University in France with Professor Roger Gillard for 3 years. Then he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California with Professor CF Meyers. After that he was a research scientist in France from 1994 to 1997 with Professor Chatal at INSERM Natance.
In 1997, Dr. Anil Mishra joined DRDO as Senior Scientist. He was at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences. However, in the year 2002–3 he was the Visiting Professor and Head of INMAS at Max Planck Institute, Germany.
Dr. Anil Mishra currently works in the cyclotron and radio pharmaceutical sciences division of DRDO. His research on radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry and organic chemistry is going on.
Started working only in April 2020
He started working on this medicine only in April 2020. Last year, the first testing of this drug was also done in Hyderabad when Corona was on peak. It is in powder form and dissolved in water and it has to be drunk. This drug will accumulate in the cell of the infected patient and will stop the infection from growing.
